WAG-THE-BEAR: U.S. AND GERMANY SENDING BATTLE TANKS TO UKRAINE AS KIEV PURGE CONTINUES

Paradigm shifts on the geopolitical landscape have been accelerated by Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. The West’s involvement in Ukraine is at least twenty years old and may take another twenty as far as the military industrial complex is concerned. On Sep. 21 President Putin announced the partial mobilization of 300,000 reservists. Then the Nord Stream pipe lines and the Kerch Bridge were sabotaged. In April 2022 Europol warned that NATO weapons aid to Ukraine is finding its way across the continent. Under the cover of tracking arms shipments an advance party of US and NATO military is moving into western Ukraine. Mid November the Russians completed a tactical withdrawal from the Kherson region west of the Dnieper River. With winter fast approaching there is speculation of a temporary freeze of the conflict, but it won’t last very long.

The silly leaders in the collective West believe that the single solution to everything Ukraine is throwing money and weapons at it. The money disappears in the black hole of corrupt officials and oligarchs, the weapons are either destroyed by the Russians or are sitting inoperative in Poland or in some arsenal because no one knows how to work them. Let’s throw some F-16s at the war, says the Dutch PM Mark Rutte.

The Netherlands has perhaps four or five operational F16s. Not sending pilots, because that would be direct intervention. Ukrainians fly Russian SU-35s. This is completely performative.

Rutte said they'll buy them instead of leasing and then send them to Ukr. So no crews incl: that would mean direct NATO interference. We're gonna own the tanks instead of renting them and then let the Ukr use the hardware. Just like the "f16 'no taboo' suggestion" from hoekstra

With all the talk of battle tanks, the collective West is seriously thinking of a spring offensive to recapture Crimea. Kidding you not! Seldom since World War I has the world been at such peril at the hands of a bunch of idiotic politicians completely cut off from reality.

Amidst inter-NATO brouhaha about a tank war in Ukraine, with Germany demanding the Americans deliver Abrams tanks before Germany sends Leopard tanks into the Ukrainian meat grinder, in the capital itself a old-fashioned purge is under way. During the last week:

• Presidential adviser resigned.
• Entire Interior Ministry dead in a suspicious helicopter crash.
• 5 Governors removed from Kiev, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson
• Deputy Minister of Defense removed
• Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territory removed.
• Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine removed.
• Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine dismissed.
• Deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine resigned.

And Zelensky has suddenly become the champion in the fight against corruption in the most corrupt country on earth. Alexander Merkouris opines that the purge is instigated by CIA Director Chris Burns, who just happened to visit Kiev. Zelensky is being isolated. Regime change anyone…? And what was Boris Johnson doing in Kiev over the weekend?

Ukrainian border guards are on high alert. Political purges are happening in Ukraine, those who are dismissed might try to flee the country.

Zelensky just signed a decree not allowing politicians, law enforcement officers and prosecutors to leave the country.

No one is talking about the question what Poland and Estonia are cooking in the Baltic and eastern Ukraine? Are they plotting to reconstitute the Polish-Lithuanian Common Wealth (Wiki) of the 17th and 18th Century? It would explain the reluctance in Germany.

Germany will send 14, Portugal 2, Belgium 0 (sorry, don't have them).

Then there's Lithuania.

Germany admits leopard tanks to be sent to Ukraine will not be deployed for 3 to 4 months.

To put this on context, 14 tanks is less than 4% of the total number German has.
